Guelph, K/W is a Community Program!

Your local Busy Minds Ed. team offers all our programs at different locations throughout the community. You’ll find us in community centers, schools, childcares and other public spaces. We bring all the instructional and educational materials with us to host active programs, camps, and parties. We help build your children’s confidence and self-image through active programs that promote a love for active living and taking care of our bodies and minds!

Experience Our Programs:

Childcare Enrichment – Our instructors come to you for biweekly enrichment or at a frequency of your choosing
Birthday Parties – We’ll bring an activity to wow and entertain your special birthday boy or girl.
School Workshops - We work with you to create a memorable school wide workshop for the whole school community!
Afterschool Programs - Are you part of a parent council? Add one of our programs to your afterschool lineup!
Staff Workshops and Wellness - Have our experienced instructors guide your staff through a memorable yoga class or a mindfulness workshop.

Hi, I'm Tina!

Hello!

I’m Tina, the owner of Busy Minds Ed. for the Guelph, Waterloo and surrounding regions. My wonderful family and I are proud to call Guelph our home, acknowledging and respecting the land that we call home is the traditional territories of the Attiwonderonk and Haudenosuanee First Nations. This beautiful land is a part of the treaty lands and territories with the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation.

For nearly two-decades I have worked in educational support for two large Ontario Universities, receiving my Hons. BA as a mature student in 2022, and also now a published author! My passion advocating for children’s mental health and wellbeing has always been present, however it developed further after the birth of my son in 2011. I am a proud mother of an amazing teenage boy, who’s neurodiversity has allowed me to grow as a person and acquire a deeper level of understanding that learning and growth come in all shapes and sizes. As an Autism parent and advocate, I feel that this wonderful venture can benefit not only our neuro-diverse kiddos, but all the children in our area.

Although my personal journey with yoga and mindfulness is quite recent, I love how yoga puts my mind at ease. In the past, I had suffered through depression and anxiety, however the positive change and peace that Yoga has brought to my life is profound. You are never too old (or young) to try something new! I look forward to sharing this journey with our communities, and I am proud to be part of this positive change.
